Hawaii's Unique Oceans

We're pleased to announce the grand prize winners and finalists of this year's coloring contest. Themed "Hawaii's Unique Oceans", we asked Maui County's keiki in grades K-5 to show us Hawaii's unique oceans through their eyes. The keiki delivered, and narrowing down the final winners was not an easy task! We received over 70 entries from grade schools across Maui, plus entries from Kaunakakai, Molokai!

The Hawaii's Unique Oceans coloring contest is held annually in honor of World Oceans Day and is part of Maui Ocean Center's celebration of the oceans. We strive to exercise the imaginations of Maui County's young minds and get them inspired about that amazing, blue environment that surrounds and sustains us.
